RENTAL PROGRAM

Our Rental Program provides learners easy access to a high-quality Lyon & Healy or Salvi lever harp.

BENEFITS
All harps in Vanderbilt's rental pool meet our stringent quality standards. One month
rentalfee, security deposit, and delivery fee are required in advance.
Monthly rental fees must be paid via online e-invoice. Contract
is required. The Rental Program is
available in the continental U.S. only. Other conditions apply.

Salvi Juno	$49.00	The Juno 27 has a bright, clear sound and a great match for the student harpist – it is lightweight and with both feet and 20cm legs, can accomodate a child’s growth.
Salvi Mia	$59.00	The 34 string Mia is an elegant, high quality instrument with a rich, clear sound that is built to be light and compact for ease of portability. It is a perfect harp for beginners of any age who need a reliable instrument for practice.
Drake	$59.00	The Drake is Lyon & Healy’s new light-tension 34-string lever harp. Its bright and clear, yet resonant sound offers an inspiring playing experience for the beginner of any age.
Odgen	$69.00	An ideal harp for both professional folk harpists and beginners alike, the Ogden’s responsive tone is big enough for any venue, while the Ogden’s lighter weight makes it easy to transport. Its height is adjustable with 4″ and 8″ legs (included with harp).
Gaia	$69.00	Gaia is the first student model created by Salvi specifically as a preparatory instrument to the pedal harp.  Equipped with 38 pedal harp strings, the Gaia has the same string tension, spacing, and gauge of a Salvi pedal harp.
Titan	$69.00	The Titan is a beautifully designed 38 string lever harp with a deep, rich and clear sound.  Solid and reliable, the Titan is the ideal instrument for beginners and students who need a full size lever harp, with over 5 octaves.
Troubadour	$79.00	The world’s best-selling lever harp, the Lyon & Healy Troubadour VI is the perfect instrument for both beginning and experienced harpists. With five complete octaves, the Troubadour VI has the same string spacing and tension as Lyon & Healy pedal harps.
Prelude	$79.00	Designed with the performing harpist in mind, this romantic classic features string spacing and tension similar to a traditional Lyon & Healy pedal harp. The Prelude 40 comes with a scalloped bronze-finished crown and matching wooden feet.

*Every rental harp comes with a tuning key and a dust cover. Add-ons such as 4” and 8” legs are available for some harps based on availability, and transport covers are available for purchase for any harp.*

Rental Agreement: You will receive the Vanderbilt Harp Rental Agreement with the most updated prices, terms, and policies.

Payment: We will send you a secure payment e-invoice where you can make your first initial payment.

Harp Dispatch: We will prepare and release your harp for shipping or customer pickup.

Rental Bounty Program

Should you choose to purchase your rental harp, Vanderbilt Music will apply the full purchase price of your harp towards any new Lyon and Healy or Salvi pedal harpupon trade in within 2 years from your rental harp purchase date. Under the bounty program one trade in per customer is allowed. Other conditions may apply.

Rental FAQ’s

What is the rental term?
The rental term requires from a minimum of 6 months and commences on the date of arrival/pick-up. Longer rental periods are discussed with your harp advisor. After this period, you can either purchase the instrument, return the harp, or start a new rental agreement based on the updated fees at that time.

If I want to purchase my rental harp, will my rental credit
be applied towards my purchase?

The first 6 months of rental credit will be applied toward your purchase on a per-contract basis. This means that
if you initiate two contracts, you can get up to one year of rental credit applied.

Are there financing options available for purchasing my
rental harp?

Of course! We work with Synchrony Bank to offer 0% financing for 18 months. This goes for rental harps and new harps, too.

At the end of my rental term, what are my options?

A. Purchase your Rental Harp – receive a sales quotation for your current harp with any discounts and credits applied – you can purchase your harp at any time.

B. Renew your Rental Agreement – process a new rental agreement to reflect the up-to-date changes, prices, and terms and conditions.

C. Return your Rental Harp – coordinate a rental pickup with one of our logistics partners or coordinate a rental drop-off at our Bloomington location with the help of a specialist.
