Winter for Harp, Flute and Clarinet by Ruth Berman Harris
Featuring a wonderful find from the Lyra Vault, this seasonal trio is written by Ruth Berman Harris, a pioneer of Jazz harp, as well as an accomplished classical performer. She was a student of Lucille Lawrence, Carlos Salzedo, Casper Reardon, and Marie Miller, as well as a composition student of Ronald Herder.
Ruth passed away in 2013 and Vanderbilt is thrilled to have found two older copies of Winter in the vault.
